COVID 19 Update – Important Information For All Customers During Outbreak

During these very strange and unprecedented times we are doing all we can to recognise and respect the Coronavirus restrictions and ensure the safety of our customers, staff, and wider community. While our display sites are currently closed, we are still open. The Summerhouse24 team are all working from home and all our systems are operating normally.

We are constantly listening and checking for updates and advice from the Government with regards to the situation and we will adapt accordingly. Our factory is still operational and has made the necessary changes to safeguard staff and we also have lots of stock models available. Our UK transport team are also still able to safely deliver your order.  

We have put together some FAQ’s that you may find useful:

Q: Will my order be delivered during the COVID-19 period?

A: Yes. We are delivering all orders when you confirm you are able to accept delivery and we are operating a contactless delivery policy.

Q: Is it safe to receive deliveries during the COVID-19 outbreak?

Yes. The risk of one of our packages being contaminated by an infected person is low and the risk of the end user catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low. Q: What happens to my order if I am self-isolating?

A: If you or anybody living at the delivery address has displayed possible coronavirus symptoms resulting in self-isolation, we kindly ask you to inform us so that we can reschedule your delivery  after the isolation period has ended. We will happily store your cabin safely until you are ready to receive it.

Q: Will my cabin still be installed during the restrictions?

A: If your cabin delivery and installation become due during the shutdown restrictions, we will contact you to discuss the options. We have / will have to postpone some installations during the shutdown as your home may be too far for our installers to travel in one day. We are able to carry out some installations but these are dependent on a number of factors, for example: Our installers can access the site where your cabin is to be installed without having to enter your home; Our installers have enough working space to maintain social distancing and you have confirmed that nobody in your home currently has or is displaying symptoms of Covid-19.
