Cabins Less Than 2.5m High

Garden log cabins less than 2,5 (8’ 2’’) meters high can be placed as close as you want to a boundary without planning permission. All wooden garden buildings higher than 2,5 meters need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary (e. g., a fence line), so you end up with a lot of space behind them. Hansa Garden has more than 200 garden summer houses to offer. Nearly half of them are under 2,5 meters high.

Garden Log Cabins under 2,5 m

There are two major differences between lower and higher garden buildings. To keep a log cabin’s overall height under 2,5 meters we have to use lower walls and doors. The average door way height of lower garden cabins is 1,8 to 1,9 meters (5′ 10′ to 6′ 2”). Higher garden summer houses have around 2 meters (6′ 6”) high doors. Everything else is the same. Ceilings are 2,1 (6′ 10”) meters and higher. In cabins of lower height, less material used affects the price. Lower garden summer houses and log cabins suit smaller gardens.
