Instead of the expected stylish garden retreat, this garden room has been transformed into a small wellness sanctuary, set in an idyllic country setting. In January 2025, the studio celebrated its three-year anniversary  – a testament to both the quality of the space and Charlotte’s dedication to creating an outstanding studio.

Thoughtful design

The studio’s design perfectly balances function and aesthetics. Warm spruce-paneled walls and exposed beam ceiling create a cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere.

Large windows frame scenic views of the surrounding nature, providing a tranquil backdrop for a workout. When lit, the wall-mounted sconces cast their gentle glow across the walls, highlighting the woods’ natural warmth even further.

All equipment – including multiple Pilates Reformer machines – is thoughtfully arranged to make the most of available space, giving both clients and the instructor ample space to move freely.

The neutral colour scheme looks like a dream, with the natural hues of the wood complementing and softening the blacks, grays and whites. The equipment beautifully contrasts the rustic wooden interior, creating a perfect blend of contemporary fitness technology and natural elements.

Outside, the studio’s black timber exterior makes a sophisticated architectural statement against the rural backdrop. Carefully positioned planters with tulips and herbs add a touch of color and fragrance to the gravel surroundings. The thoughtful design strikes a peaceful balance, hinting at an almost zen-like atmosphere.

A nurturing environment
